David Wolf, the founder of the Patriot Flag, is an independent Jewelry Appraiser, and Master Gemologist Appraiser who founded his own company in 1998, Just Appraisers — an independent jewelry appraisal firm.In 2001, David Wolf’s lifetime career as a jeweler and Master Gemologist Appraiser led Chase to contract David to appraise their safety deposit box contents found in the wreckage of Ground Zero of the WTC — Chase Bank was located at street level between the two towers.
David’s work carried on and in later years, was contracted as the Appraiser of Record for the Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy recovery projects. David Wolf became the Catastrophe Recovery expert for jewelry.
